The Oldham Rothwell Car project was a chance for me to get my 'retired' friend and mentor back doing the thing he loves best. Oldham council wanted a car highlighting the engineering history of Oldham and celebrating the production of the Rothwell car for Accelerate festival, a Spare Parts and Oldham Council production. Together Mike Green and I deigned and delivered the car for the event. It was later showcased at Manchester Day Parade and Oldham Reindeer Parade.
